Well this week especially Sunday, today, was pretty busy! Josh and I
spoke in church. At first we were both so nervous, as i think most
people are, but for me after I got up there and got talking for a minute
i was feeling pretty comfortable! I was pleasantly surprised at how
well it went. I spoke for about 20 minutes. We spoke on the law of sacrifice. I talked about some of the different aspects of life that we
make sacrifices such as as a youth, being married and as a parent. One
story that I found was about some saints from Mexico that had saved up
there paseos to get a bus to go to the Mesa temple but they had no money
for food. It was a five day trip and they slept on the bus and they
talked about how that was such a great sacrifice for them but also very
worth it! I thought that was neat. I would have to say that I enjoyed
giving this talk! Yeah, that's a first! Then I also taught young
womens. Then Josh and I spoke for about 15minutes at a youth fire side
on how we got through High School. We mainly just talked about the
importance of sticking to your values and having good friends and
attending seminary and things like that. I enjoy working with the
youth. So that was Kind of my crazy Sunday!!

I'll give you a Hailey update. She crawls so much she will follow us
anywhere it's so cute. And she can pull up to the standing position
just about anywhere there is a place to pull up on! It's so fun. It's
amazing how much I could love my own child. And I really can appreciate
so much more all the things that Mom and Dad did for us because I have
so much of a greater understanding of all that a parent does for there
child. This weekend Josh had a deacon camp out and so Kimberly,Julie's
older sister, came over and spent the night. On Saturday we went to the
whole enchilada fiesta. We ate a ton of yummy food and I got a really
cute bracelet for Hailey and a necklace and bracelet for me. It was so
cute! The only down side was that it was pretty hot and I got sunburned
a little bite. We also saw the parade, the only band we saw was the Cruces band because we got there kinda late but it totally made me think of
you! Then we got ready and went to the Relief Society Broadcast.

Hailey for Halloween is going to be snow white. I found a cute little
costume for not much so i decided to go with it. Today I really
enjoyed watching conference. I especially enjoyed the talk about
mothers. Mom did Hailey's hair with 2 little pig tails on top and she
was wearing a striped outfit. We thought she looked like a bug. We
kept calling her our little Hailey bug. The picture I sent you is from
today but it's kinda hard to see her hair so look closely. I tried to
take a better picture but they weren't really turning out.
