This last weekend we went to California for Josh's cousins wedding! It
was pretty fun. We flew so that was an experience. It still is tough
to travel with a one-year-old no matter how you do it. It was a little
different though because they are not LDS and it was a little bit like a
sermon from a baptist church. We just got back today. It was a
pretty relaxed vacation.

Hailey's new thing is climbing all of everything like the couches or the
kitchen chairs and then onto the kitchen table. She is a super busy
girl, she was before but it's definitely more so that way now. For
example, she will put her sippy cup into a box and then take it out,
take a drink, then put it back and then starts over again. Another funny
little thing is that she loves to watch the Wiggles on the Disney
channel. It's the only thing that can calm her down sometimes when she
is throwing a fit. She also gotten pretty good at throwing tantrums
lately. She'll throw herself all over the floor to try and get what she
wants. Usually I'll just laugh but sometimes it's kinda frustrating.

This week we took Hailey for her 15 month check up and she got 2 shots.
She hasn't been feeling to good since. It's been about 5 days so we
might take her to the doctor tomorrow. Also this weekend Joe graduated
from Medical School. We drove to Lubbock for that, it's about 5 hours
away! By the time we got there Josh was sick with a fever and sore
throat and aches. After graduation he went to the hotel room until we
left the next after noon. I went to dinner with everyone and got lost
on the way home for about 1/2 an hour. Hailey was crying it was past
her bed time and she had a poopy diaper. When I finally got to the
hotel I was so happy I got Hailey out and her poop got all over my
shirt. I didn't really notice how bad it was til I got to the room.
Josh's food was cold and when we put Hailey in the tub to clean her up
it was all up her back, The tub would not drain. Then she spilled all
her medicine for her allergies, he dr.'s not sure about that. We were
both like if we had known we would never had come. Oh well I had fun at
the park with his family the next day and the drive home wasn't too
bad, he feels a lot better today!

This weekend we've been playing with the Hakes. They all came into
town because Joe and Katie are moving to Fort Worth, Tx at the end of
may. It's been pretty fun. I look forward to our Kohler family Vacation
although it has changed about 100 times. Okay, I'm just kidding but
it's hard to say how that will work out. I would love to go to San
Antonio, it's only eight hours away, it has the river walk, six flags,
sea world, shopping, and tons of thing to do! I think the newest idea
is to drive Aunt Barbara to St. George over 4th of July weekend. I
think that it would take forever to drive there because we'd be driving a
U-haul there, but we would get to see the Kohler Family, so we'll see
about that!
